Default Tuska HP and torque of your motor

Tuska What is the HP and torque of your motor? I have run similiar carriers before and they are good for about 550 HP and torque. I have looked and seen no rate numbers. That is not a cheap carrier. When my TRIPLE-D rear then changed to Torsen-Gleason they say 600HP and Torque. It is more like 500/500 I broke 2 carriers. I was also looking at the truetrac and the same basic carrier came in the F-body GM cars. In the 8" rearend and we replaced a number of them for abuse or worn out worn gears. IMO and after autocrossing and roadracing, you can live with the locker of Detroit. It's a little cluncky on hard turns but your foot controls that. I did like the worn gear carrier when they worked. No clutches or springs to wear out. Just something to think about. It's your hard earned money. Nascar uses them on there 2 roadcourse races, I hear they are done after the 400 mile race. Just try and get go info before you spend alot of money. Rick Lake
