Looks like a molded into the hood, hood scoop, as well as numerous other details that SCREAM 'replica'. Not even a close call...

I don't much about the Shell Valley, I've heard good things in general, the overall shape and dash layout of this car is not overly impressive. Maybe it's just the pictures but it appears the windshield 'rake' is not layed back enough, seems to sit up straight to much.

Getting antique, classic, historic, etc. license plates is fairly easy in many states, regardless of when a replica was actually made. A little 'fudging' here and there with the paperwork is generally all that is required. DON'T try to 'fudge' ANYTHING in Calif and it's becoming increasingly more worriesome in other states as well. Best to be right up front about what it is and what it isn't, or risk possible fraud charges.
