Well with Boeing in the area, there are a number of machine shops that can help you out.

I am however curious about the balance and the 1/2 inch threads. If the shaft is going to be spinning very fast, then threads are not all that good at centering the shaft.

Steel is also a little vague. Lots of steel materials out there with different properties.
