Well I have just had my first sexual experiance with my Cobra,
but not as you may think I pushed her outside the workshop for a wash and then back inside for a polish. The old girl doesnt come up to bad
so we are of to a good start. I came to the conclusoin that anyone who cant understand how us mere males love these cars should spend some time polishing one. They are just like the female form all the right curves in all the right places, there is hardy a flat straight panel on these bodies. The seats are going in to get reuhpolstered on monday and hopefully the engine and gearbox will be out on Tuesday for a service and coat of paint. Now the problem is do I paint the engine Ford light blue, Black or aluminium? New manifold and carby should be here before the engine goes back in on Friday and we will start her up on the weekend. The plan is to be registered and on the road before the V8s which is July 4,5 and 6 July and seeing as its my birthday on the 7th I might actually have the Monday off and spend the day cruising. well thats the plan anyway.
