Hi when i mounted the throttle in a customers drb cobra i cut down the plastic bracket it came on and made a metal mount to go on the plastic bracket then mounted it to the fire wall .
I had to re-enforce the bracket as it flexed a little.
make sure its solidly mounted.
Also FYI the throttle will not open until the engine is started.
It will reset its self to a starting position when you turn on the ignition you can hear it.
The only negative from the customer is it feels a little vague some times when you gas it up. other than that it works fine.
