Default transporting the cobra

I know that I'm getting well ahead of myself here, but wanted to ask about how you took delivery of your car, and how you dealt with transporting the car to the NJ DMV for inspection, since you can't drive it there.

I know from doing a search, that some of you seem to borrow your trailers from someone with one; unfortunately I don't know of anyone with a trailer.

Just trying to think out what my alternatives are, as I think it would be great to pick up my car myself from ERA, rather than have it shipped. I also know that I need to work out the logistics of transporting it once it gets here, for inspection. BTW I'm in Central NJ.

I assume that you rent the trailer, but what is it that you look for in a trailer to transport the cobra, given issues such as ground clearance, etc. Does anyone know of a place in Central NJ that has trailers that are good for the Cobra?

Or am I just better off having it shipped?

As always, your thoughts are appreciated.
