Point is, that is NOT true Ernie (not about your hood, I believe you that you had it painted). Go back to my post you quoted from and look at the link I provided and see what public officials were saying way back in the late '90s about Iraq and WMDs. Were they all lying to the American public too? Everybody was fooled and it's dishonest and intellectually lazy to come back now and say that the Bush admin 'lied'.
Were they wrong about the WMDs? To a very large extent, yes. Saddam's ability to make WMDs was far less than anyone thought. Was he still trying to acquire both WMD and the ability to deliver them? Yes to that too.
