I, for one had a great time!

To any of you who thought about going, but didn't...you really missed out. I was only there for the track day, but it was great. Essentially an open track all day long for anyone who wanted to go out. You could have been out there for 8 hours in a row if you and your car could take it.

Kudos to Dave (Sandwich) for setting fast lap (for a cobra, not driven by an instructor). My car was seriously crapping out (ate into my fun some), but there's always next time!

I'll try to post some pics, and maybe some videos if I can figure out that "youtube" thing .

Larry, I got your card, and will be sending all the pics I have (some from my Dad, too....his are the ones that are out of focus ).

BTW, I hope all of you went by the museum....WOW!!! Larry Miller has probably got as much money in cars in that museum, as he spent on the rest of the track. I didn't count, but I'd guess...8 cobras (including a dragonsnake, 289s...FIA and/or USRRC, 427 sc and full comp), a daytona, 2 GTs (J car, and mark 2...one of the '66 le mans cars), Williment supercoupe shell, maybe 7-8 Shelby mustangs, and a whole lot more. Don't tell anyone, but security just let us in with no supervision...contact me off line if you are interested in a lightly used, but original 289 steering wheel, a full set of 427 comp spinners, a Daytona drivers side mirrior in pristine condition, or the spare tire from the Shelby Cobra team tow rig...not usable due to age, but a great paperweight!!
