Just watching the fires and thank goodness they have most of them about out. It was really pretty smoky and miserable here for a day or so. I believe they said that the lightening and storms had started over 400 fires in the state but most of them only burned a few acres. We had over 60 in this area, but they had the planes and fire fighters right on them so not many homes were lost.
That is to bad about the Cds but I always open the case and look inside when I buy one. If the store won't allow me to cut the plastic, I don't buy it. That was quite a trip and I am happy that you got to go. And I am sure the 38 MPG helped too.
