Went for a nice 3 hour cruise Saturday afternoon/evening. I drove into Boston and investigated some areas I have never been to before. Here is a shot in East Boston, about 3 miles from Logan (shown in background).

The other side of this 1 mile long wharf is a terminal for cruise ships. Only one small ship was there when I drove by. It most likely was a booze cruise. Some of the container loaders on the next wharf. I'll have to check that one out at a later date.

I was amazed at all of the undeveloped areas in East Boston. Quite a few humongous buildings too. Some of the roads were good drag strips.

Of course, when I decided to drive home, they had started to pave part of the main road going south (Rte 95). Five glorious lanes just outside the Big Dig tunnel squeezed into 2 lanes so they could pave the road. Took me an hour to go 4 miles.
