Synthetic that Richmond recommends. The shifter (Hurst) seems a little loose all the way around. I may get a different shifter that has more positive heim based shifter fork connectors. Something my Nascar buddy runs and I forget the name. I need to spend some more time diagnosing and testing various work arounds.
