Default Found reference to the Louisiana course

Mansfield Airport hosted a 2.4 mile temporary road course used at one time by the Sports Car Club of America. The airport is located northwest of Mansfield, Louisiana. this is where Shelby probably raced the Corvettes.

Now I have to find out if there was a race course in Cumberland.

Probably the present SR-2 owners can tell you if their cars were raced by
Shelby. I am surprised bill mitchell sold his red car but probably the pressure was on from GM to get rid of anything that looked like a race car
