Yeah. That was the SAAC where I first met Jay, he was waiting for Mark to finish the car. He was driving Mark's first "Cobra" and we all went up Telegraph to Farrell's for ice cream.
Jay was just an "up and coming" comedian then, not a nationally known star, but a fun car guy who liked to drive, look and dream about neat cars. For several years after whenever he came to Buffalo to do a show, he would call me and leave tickets for the show. We always met backstage after for a chat. As he became a bigger star, it got harder and harder to get backstage after the show. Jay's solution? "Tell 'em your'e my cousin, they ALWAYS fall for that one"
