Yes they hang from the top. But as far as a photo goes, I will definately need to do that so you can actually see what's in the car now. The only problem is that the car is in the shop right now getting a new valve cover gasket and a pasenger side roll bar fitted, which is why I wanted to get some ideas on replacements now since it would be an opertune time to do that. I'll go over to the shop and take a couple of photos and post them here in a day if I can. But yes, they hang from the top and the gas pedal does not have much more than wide area on a steel arm. The clutch and brake have no and little rubbers of any type on them they are just ugly little steel pedals that I suppose I could find some rubbers to fit if I find out what they are exactly.
May be they just need some TLC and a little $ thrown at them. I will ask the shop as they might know what they are. They do a lot of excellent street rod building there but are not really Cobra people. More into 40s coupes and roadsters, but well done real steel chops and restorations.
I'll get more info and a photo and post it ASAP.
