Which oval size air filter size do you prefer ?

16" x 3" x 9" (if this height is really 3", it's too high for my cobra)
or

21-1/4" 2" x 10-1/4 " (I have this size filter now and use Accel Kool Blue and believe the K & N is the same size. The filter height is 2")

I have a machinist wanting to make these in billet form.
