I had a Canton on my previous motor, but have an Aviaid on my new one. It's probably exactly what you are looking for, 7 1/2 quart road race style with a T kickout in the front 2/3rds of the pan.

Nice workmanship, I like the aluminum color (as opposed to the brass color of the Canton). They also have a lot of Ford choices, (many more styles than Canton). Customer service: both companies are helpful, but the guy at Aviaid was notably so and responded to email's about delivery times and such.

As far as Canton vs Aviad, the Aviad is lighter, (perhaps not as strong?) aesthetically more pleasing.

There is also a guy from LA, who used to work at Aviad. I *think* his name is Armando or something like that. He is a one man operation, he handcrafts the pans himself. The wait is a little longer, but people say the workmanship is fantastic, and he'll custom make you any one you want.

Someone out there know the guy I am talking about?
