Aircraft safety wire dependability is not a BOLD statement, but tried-and-true method of securing bolts. Pins are great for F1, where pit stops are completed in six seconds. They may be good for your Cobra (they sure look fine), but I'll stick with safety wire. A roll of wire costs about six bucks and will last ten years, depending on how much I change my wheels and tires.
