I change mine every time since the oil came from the engine anyway....

The simplest way I know to do it is to turn on the Accusump when the car is to be drained. It should empty itself into the crankcase.

I warm up the car beforehand leaving the Accusump on so it will drain more easily and completely.

When refilling add three quarts to your regular capacity. Mine ends up taking a total of ten quarts including the filter; yours may be different.

Crank the engine afterward with the Accusump switched on so it will refill and you should be good to go!
