I have the deeper Powermaster alternator (100A 1 wire) on my 482 FE. It will not fit with the standard 1V pulley setup. What you need to do if you want to use the bigger alternator is to get a 2V pulley set and then use spacers to shim out the mounting points on alternator to fit. I had the unused groove machined off the top pulley to improve the appearance of the final setup. If you look closely, you can see the results in these pictures. The pulleys and brackets came from March.
