Thanks for the photo which is worth at least 10^3 words!

I think I see how this is set up and it looks as though you have a single groove crank pulley. Is that correct?

If so, you may not have the power steering. I haven't been able to get a good photo or sketch, even from March's web site at marchperf.com. From what I can gather the PS setup adds another groove to the crank pulley.

I'll call March tomorrow and see if I can get some more info - thanks for the lead!
