I must admit that there are advantages to having a wife who's deaf in one ear (thanks to something called an acoustic neuroma years ago). And luckily it's her right ear, so the sidepipes won't be such a problem.

The biggest disadvantage is that she can't tell where sound is coming from (non-stereo).
