American parts manufacturer as in whom?
Callies? Carrillo? Crower? You better recheck your list of American parts manufacturers as they are slowly drifting to the oriental side as well. Money is money and if they can have it rough machined overseas, then they will.
There's nothing wrong with Scat/Eagle products.
