It has been several months since I started this post yet have not received any photos to be included in the 2009 calendar, this despite a number of folks expressing interest in purchasing such a calendar. FWIW, Monster has already started working on the cover page.
While still a few months off, I would like to have all photos in by Halloween as things got pretty rushed last year. Recall that the photos you submit should be ones that most folks would like to view for an entire month. They should also be fairly high-resolution and tell an interesting story.
If we don't get enough photos we will either eliminate the idea for 2009 (making your 2008 calendars a collector's item
) or possibly open it up to non-BACC cars. Again we must sell a minimum number of calendars to keep the price low. This is not a money making proposition - purely for our enjoyment.
I have enjoyed my 2008 calendar especially since I know each of you whose car I view each month. Please also let me know if I can pencil you in for a copy and send in a great shot or two as soon as you can.
