Default Tremec 3550 Problem

Hey Gang - Can anyone help me on this? Had my Windsor stroker completely rebuilt two weeks ago and now I have a transmission problem. It grinds intermittently with the clutch depressed and in any gear except reverse. It goes away with a shift to neutral or if I let the clutch out. The 3550 manual says that a too high idle speed can cause grinding. (My re-builder had set the idle to 1200 rpm for break-in) I reduced the idle to 800 rpm and the problem persists. I've spent time on the phone with Jeff at Tremec in Plymouth MI and he says the problem is very unusual and he will have to research it. My crank was NOT replaced but was re-surfaced. My re-builder discovered the original flywheel was assembled backwards (thats why I needed a new starter!!) and we have a new one in place. I have new cam with a different firing order. Any ideas??
