Hey Mac!

Well I have NO previous experience with this style air cleaner. But I would think if you found a large rubber O ring or cut a rubber gasket out of a piece of sheet rubber and placed that between your carb and air cleaner. It might provide enough resistance to keep the cleaner from rotating.

Other than that. I guess I'd have to wait till I get a chance to really drive my car and see what happens.

Its made of a composite material and I think rubber would give you better resistance. You could use one of these as a template to cut a new one out of sheet rubber.
