I run a Comp Cams 270H Magnum in my 428 FE ERA w/3:31, 10.0:1, MSD, and a 750 vac secondary Holly carb. Although it's sorta mild, it runs very well at 1700/1800 on city streets and really wants to pull hard when it gets over 2600 or so. Timing is set to come in at about 1700/1800 (36 deg total, small springs). Works good for me.
