Those 1 5/8" primary tubes and 3" inlet/outlet are the ones that came with the original side pipes. I just changed the center section when I went with the glass pack muffler. Originally I had a 351W in the car.
The new side pipes will have 2" primary tubes and a 4" straight shot from these tubes to the outlet.
