The dimension you are trying to obtain is one that will change when different tire sizes are installed on a given car. The constant is the center to center dimension (Track) that is typically made avaiable. In other words, put on wider tires and 1/2 the increase in tire width goes to the inside of each tire (from centerline) and 1/2 goes to the outside. Then, take into consideration that the track on each Brand or make is most likely a little different and capable of accepting different size tires. You'll get many different answers. I hope this isn't oversimplified?
