I do not wish to upstage the initiator of this post, just a heads up. If the coil is an oil filled canister type (which many are) mounting them as above (on their side) exposes part of the core windings within the can (uncovered and above the oil level) and thay will run hot and eventually fail prematurely. MSD makes one particular type (which this appears to be) "Can shaped" epoxy coated , & filled coil that can be mounted as above without any compromises, they call it their "HVC" coil.
