To shift one of these transmissions fast, the clutch has to be set up perfectly. Everything has to be perfectly aligned and the proper air gap has to be obtained.
TKO's aren't really made for shifting at that rpm anyway. The reason they can take so much torque is because of the size of the gears. In a synchronized situation, it takes a little longer to get the inertia of those big gears to go which way you need it to go.
