You know it's a good day when you get to ride in a Cobra, and then get to see some outstanding cars. It's even better if you stayed up until midnight working on your own Cobra, and then getting up at 6:30 to take your grocery getter down for new tires...

Canepa was totally *****'n. Waaaaaay to many cars to describe.
A few of my favorites:

Duesenburg #1 ---yes, THE very first Duesenburg ever built is at Canepa.

A REAL 289 FIA, one of seven, Dan Gurney's ride. Didn't get the CSX, but I'm sure somebody here knows it.

Don Prudhome's (sp?) vintage rail dragster. How would you like to jam down a 1/4 mile with the rear differential keeping your nuts warm?

A 427 S/C stripped down to the frame and aluminum, undergoing a full restoration.

A couple of gullwing Mercedes Benz'.

A bunch of Cobras, including Reggie Jackson's 427.

A nice Woodie wagon.

And on, and on, and on. What a great tour Sean provided. Sean used to work for Jack Roush (sp?), and is head of procurement. I asked him about the Cobra that was for sale, and if I could take a look at it, and he graciously provided a pretty comprehensive tour. Simply amazing.
