The post IS CORRECT. Notice I say if the car was LEGALLY registered as a 1965 Cobra.

If fraud or misrepresentation was involved in the original registration, then it was not LEGAL and as such, if caught, you will be prosecuted and the vehicle will lose its registration.

Not worth it in my opinion. Take the p/w to DMV and let them decide for you. Then pay lots of money and rest easier.
