It is true that many makes can be modified to have more room. Even though the Lone Star cockpit is one of the roomiest it too can even be modified for additional room. The LS427 body must be made to accommodate the biggest big blocks and bell housings so...... if you install a small block then by all means utilize the dead space. Instructions of how to do so can be provided. It is actually quite simple and ends up placing the gas pedal in the same location as any mass produced car.
I can't express enough how important it is to sit in the different car manufacturers which you are considering. If you’re anything like me you wouldn't even buy a pair of shoes with out at least trying them on first. In an old advertisement LSC ran in Kit Car Magazine in 1999 & 2000, LSC bragged about the size of its cockpit. I thought everyone would get a kick out of reading it.
