It has a detailed description of how to adjust the parking brake on an E-36 BMW. There is no need to remove the brake caliper or rotor. Use two lug nuts on one stud & jamb them together. remove the stud from the rotor. The star wheel can be accessed through the hole. You can then adjust the E-brake shoes to whatever resistance or clearance you desire. Us e loctite on the stud when you replace it.
