Default Hey

Hey friends...

Well, doing better now, but it was dicey. i was suppose to be home on Thursday, and just got home this saturday evening just 5 hours ago, and thougth to check email real quick.

Surgery had to be done TWICE. 11 hours from the time I went in there till I actually went into final recovery. My hip was shallow, they installed the new replacement devices and when they put me into recovery, I was groaning of pain i guess, so they re-exray'd it. Well, the damn acetabulum socket popped out of the hip bone as I was coming out of anestisia.

So, they had to unstitch me, gut me back open, redislocate the hip, pull out the first set of devices, and try a different setup which could be srewed in deeper after a bit more machinging was done again...

Home now, in pain, with my left leg swollen about twice the size of the other, but i think I'm through the hard part now. They had me stay in the hospital a few more days after some complications with dual anestisia and based on what happened... my surgeon is top brass too... goes to show you all parts don't fit all situations. A solid 4-6 weeks of home recovery.

Thanks to all of you for your emails and PMs. Time for a Norco about now!
