Glad that you had no damage but normally a quake of that magnitude doesn't cause anything more than maybe a few broken glasses and things that may fall. Pull up a geological map of the planet that shows the known fault lines and look at it. The whole Earth looks like an egg with the shell cracked. There is a pretty big fault line that runs right under Times Square if I remember correctly.
What happens with all of the drilling and one of the fault lines opens up and all of the Texas
oil goes underground and winds up out here where we have larger faults to hold it?
