NHRA requires a 6 point cage for convertables running 13.99 seconds or faster. This means that you need two tubes that go to the front of the car, two towards the front, and two straight down (like your hoop).

Ive seen it done, but the car looks totaly stupid. My suggestion is to find a track that is laxed on the rules.
