From the look of things NASCAR may be on the way down. Teams are losing sponsors right and left, teams are looking for mergers and poor ol' Bill Davis may just have to close all together. Chrysler and GM are talking merger and GEM (chryslers main engine builder) is talking to Toyota for next year. And the list goes on. Maybe it's time for another phase in racing, a return to road course racing at the grass roots level? SCCA, NASA type without a lot of money involved?
