The kit gave us close to a 20HP difference, when compared to the stock setup sucking in hot under hood air. We do not have any published data to send you, as of yet. We are still going over all of our numbers and trying to get them in a readable format, which we can release to the public. I hope that this answers your questions. I received all my parts and I am less than thrilled to be honest..I really don't know how I am going to make this thing work at all.I guess a lot of things are going to need to change. Hood clearance will be no issue, however valve cover clearance, spark plug wire routing, 4' cold air routing in the engine bay, heater core supply and return water lines will be! I will probably need to run a spacer under the carb to bring the hole thing up. I am also not happy with the chrome quality at all, little nicks and sanding scratches chromed over..CHEAP LOOKING. When I ordered it last week they had no polished version, just chrome in the low profile. I was on the site yesterday and the day before and now they are offering an polished version, I called them wanting to trade for what I originally wanted, he said I would have to return it to Summitt, blah blah blah. They have now taken it off the website because it is not even priced yet and should not have been up there yet.
The guy I had spoke with gave me a lot of wrong information and measurements. It has a 12.5x 3" element, not a 13.5 as he had said, it also measure 22.5 overall width, not 24". The airbox is not sealed at the bottom, it has an 1/8 inch gap all the way around which is going to let some heat in, they could have definately done a better job here! Also, the element is a unique size that is only available thru them. I am still trying to figure out the drop down at the valve cover area. This would be a lot easier if I just ripped it apart, but I am not ready to rip the car apart yet, still some nice cruising weather.
I did the math on the cfm on their filter and I am getting 706cfm, they are claiming 900+, I questioned his formula, turns out , their is no formula, their numbers are coming from a flow bench on the whole air box. I don't know how it could possibly flow more that the element is capaqble of flowing

Hey Don, you are not that far from me, if you would like to come down to Southbury to check it out , you would be more than welcome!
Regards...Dave
