Don Edmonds HELPED design the car,BTM, Anahiem CA., built the car. G.M supplied all the parts Bill Thomas needed to build the "cobra killer", bought car # 1, x-rayed it,pulled the backing and built the Grand Sport on the same package idea.
BTM caught fire after 18 cars, rumours have it between 6 to 8 cars survived.
It had no drive shaft,ran a Muncie,IT SEEMED LOOSE BUT IT WAS BECAUSE YOU ARE AT THE BACK OF THE CAR,so when if fish tails you are not in the middle of the car you are at the whip!!
