I might be wrong, but I THINK it's located just above the
oil pan on the block itself. It just so happens that my block did not have this number cast into it (
I wonder if this will be a problem later...), but mine is a service block, so that might be the reason. The number will be something like C6AE-.... and some additional numbers and characters (or something similar).
I do NOT remember which side of the block it's suppose to be on. Sorry.
