Unfortunately I think you are all correct. I asked the store manager here why some things weren't being stocked any more and he said they either couldn't get them on a regular basis or the price was so high that they would not be able to move them since about 85% of the people in this are are retired and on fixed incomes. Some of the fruit I looked at was really sad looking and I was surprised they would even put it out. Time for me to get a garden tractor and plow my upper lot and start a garden there.

But I believe that one way or another we will come out of this mess, probably in a better position than we have been in as a lot of the unneeded fat and other things will no longer be around. However I do fear that the price of living once this is over is going to be much higher. I am just taking the stance of watching what is going on and riding out the depressing economy. One nice thing is I only have my monthly bills to pay as everything else I own I paid cash for when I bought it. But we will survive in some manner.
