I have been in many workshops in my time as a mechanic and as a service manager.
I have never seen a Tecalemit hoist fail.
They are more expensive, but when I saw a Renault fall of another brand of hoist (Arms on one side gave way) it was not a pretty sight for the Renault.

And when fitting the hoist at home, make sure you have the correct grade concrete, remember all that stops them falling over is the dynabolts in the concrete.
