You are no where near the point of being ready to make a decision. It is a buyers market whatever great deal you may have found will be a better deal next month. I have no doubt there are a couple CRII and FFR as nice as a SPF but it probably less than 1 for every 250 of the others where every spf is nice mainely because it is factory built. If you have to buy a cobra in the very near future then do yourself a favor and either buy a Superformance or a Backdraft, or an ERA$$$.

1) Factory assembled rollers
2) hold resale value as best as be expected in todays market, at one time they were worth more than you paid for them.
3) Your not putting your life in a shadetree mechanics hands.

I have driven a ffr I did not think was safe to drive on a farm, once again the builder was an idiot, I have seen a couple CRII but never driven any. Unless the car you are looking at is less than $20k then do yourself a favor and keep asking questions here, you definelty came to the right place and most people are not aholes like me.
