Default Colder Weather / Heated Jackets???

As I am wraping up the wiring on my build, I am thinking about adding a second power outlet. This way when my wife and I are driving on those colder mornings, cooler evenings or even in early spring or late fall we could each plug in our heated jackets. A friend of mine suggested them since he is a big motorcycle riding fan.

My question is have any of you tried these and if so how have they worked for you? I had installed a heater in my last built car and I felt like it was pretty much a waste of keeping the upper torsoe warm, and so it was pretty much wasted weight. I figure the legs can be kept warm a little by the heat that naturally comes off of the big block.
Your thoughts?
Jackets Source?
Will the standard wiring power outlet be enough for these?

Thanks in advance,
Todd
