Great looking vette! I'm one of the lucky few that have 2 cobras. One has 235/60 fronts and 295/50 rears. The other has the Goodyear billboards all around. Since they both have the same size engine/transmission, I can tell you that the Goodyears stick, both at the start, as well as the corners. The BFG's are great tires too, but more for the vintage look than for tracking. I really think they work better on a heavier vehicle like yours. They BFG's are very streetable, while the Goodyear's take a little more patience on the street. For track, there are better tires than either of these.
Both of my cars are used for my pleasure only. I play with them and will never seriously race either. So, for me, just knowing that either tire will spin if I put the pedal to the metal, is good enough for me. Otherwise, I'll enjoy the cruise.
