A question...

Here's a picture of the bulkhead between the passenger compartment and the trunk in my Unique 427SC. In the next post, there's a picture of Todds' car where he moved this bulkhead back and created a shelf behind the seats. I would like to do this for a couple of reasons: 1) create some storage space 2) to mount some shoulder harnesses to the frame without having to thread them through this wall.

Does anyone know if this wall is a structural component? Would moving this wall back compromise the integrity of the rear deck?
