ok, so EGR and the plate it mounts on are not needed for operation. make sure that the harness you are using or the computer has been told there is no EGR.
MAFs are co-calibrated to run with a particular injector rating 19lb,24,lb,30lb. your motor-sport supplier locally should be able to help you ID your injectors and suggest a MAF.
also keep in mind to RUN A PCV, this helps reduce acids from unburned fuel in the crank case
oil.
