My Jack - that I keep in my trunk in a gym bag in case of emergencies (along with a tire repair kit) is a Torin Big Red 1.5 ton aluminum racing jack (blue color) that is a low profile jack and weighs 26 pounds. It is a great jack - a few cranks and she's up - and I always stick a jack stand under for security (also carry one in the gym bag - a flat aluminum base that the jack cylinder slips into - slick).
