Before the Genesis and Pond blocks came to the market NOS sideoiler blocks were selling for much more. $7500+ was the norm. So if anything prices have dropped a bit.

Are DMV inspectors getting that savvy where they are checking casting numbers and reading date codes? Do you think they could really tell a Genesis block from a OEM? I have a new Genesis block and have had a few oem 427's. I think it would be somewhat difficult even for the most anal of inspectors to tell them apart when it's together in the car. So how deep are these guys digging into your rides on inspection?
